At the Rietvlei Zoo Farm for a surprise 70th birthday picnic.

What I heard:

"Were you the one who walked in wearing the hat?" he asked me.
"Yes, I was."
"Are you a journalist?"
"Yes, I am."
"Really?" he laughed in disbelief. "I was going to say that journalists who wear nice hats always gets the headlines."
"But I am really a journalist," I laughed in response.
